Rihanna atleast had over a decade of hits to "retire" on, her fame is forever. Shawn's relevancy after his last hit (2019) will not last that long unfortunately.

A couple more years and he'll just be remembered as a teen idol bc he never successfully transitioned out of that I doubt his publicist would be willing to pay for paparazzi for that long either
