Your issue sounds very personal. Because if it was just subjective music criticism you'd have just left it there but instead you're jumping through hoops to make assumptions about his wants and motivations you can't possibly know are fact, and diminish his struggles with mental health and how his fame impacts that. That's nothing to do with critiquing his music. It's an attack on his character that, in my opinion, is entirely unjustified and disproportionate to anything he has actually said or done. He's not exactly doing a Justin Bieber or Taylor Swift where he's begging for chart success here either; he's put a song out into the world and done a few interviews, and your response to that has been to consistently attack his character, question his motivations and mock/deny his mental health struggles. And that IS personal. I'd have more respect if you just plainly said the truth; you don't like him and this was a good excuse to be bitchy.
