Should i Worry?

Well, after sex with my partner i often am a little sore at the root of my shaft. one particular day we had sex in an akward position, with her sitting on the bathroom sink and her legs bent so that her knees were at face level. we went at it pretty roughly, and i feel some slight discomforts in my thrusts. after i pulled out i was really sore and my penis was really red at the root of my shaft - underside. then we found that my skin had broken a little in the same area. i went back to school and i heeled up, but am still sore. should i write this off as just an abrasion, or should i get it looked at?

do scrapes and the such happen often to guys of bigger packaging?

also wanted to add the we dont use a condom.

any thoughts?

That could happen. I do remember something happening to me first time I used a condom, it was just a little sore round the root, where the condom ring is because it was tight. It could be that...I guess the latex rubbing your skin is what scratched it or whatever. That's what I THINK it is but if you're really concerned or if it hurts and keeps hurting, get it checked out. I was basically good to go the next morning.

Scrapes can happen for a varierty of reasons--dryness, stubble burn, condom tightness, etc.

When I have experienced it, I have tried to remember the position or cause and avoid it like the plague.

If I were you, I'd like, give intercourse a rest for a while, yah? Just for a few days, see how yer shaft is. If there's little to no improvement, go see a doc.

There&#39;s just more of us to rub <G>. As a rule, if it hasn&#39;t gotten better in a couple of days, see a doc or the college clinic. Sounds like you&#39;re on your way to recovery though. And check with your girlfriend - odds are if you&#39;re raw, she may be too.

Use a condom bud, and use lube. I don&#39;t have much, if any, pre-cum. My second girlfriend (a nursing student) back in college was equally as dry. First time we had sex, it was pretty "rough." I was raw and she was bleeding. Next time we had sex, she brought some K-Y jelly (it was the mid-70s - didn&#39;t have much choice like today) and it was much smoother.
