Speedos: My opinion (re-inforced by more years of experience than I want to admit to) is that most guys love being naked and crave NON-sexual body contact with each other. Guys don't 'cuddle' like girls, but seem really into using each other as furniture. I.e as backrests, headrests, footstools, pillows, etc.

IMO, the uniquely American bias against speedos and fear of being labelled as 'gay' are just products of our social conditioning due to our history...

I've worn speedos in the past 40 years and more recently swim jammers and never have had anyone accuse me of being gay. Not sure if they have not done that because of my sheer size or how I fill my swimsuit out. Either way I really don't give a rat's ass about perception.
