Is it just me who fantasizes about Tsitsipas and Medvedev’s rivalry as being two guys who are secretly in love with each other and are frustrated about it? Of course, as I said, it’s pure fantasy. But it also makes their lame “rivalry” and pettiness a bit more interesting.

If Stefanos is secretly in love with an ATP player he could do much better than Medvedev. For example Thiem. Can you imagine them rubbing their butts together discretly in the locker room ?

Also, I already thought about their rivalry some time ago and if I had to give a theory about it, I would say that Medvedev knows Tsitsipas is secretly gay and that he is a homophobic prick who tries to bully Stefanos behind the scene. That would make some sense I feel, but it's just a theory of course.

Stefenos + Theim doesn’t do much for me. Of course, if you’re not at all into Medvedev then imagining him with Stefenos is is not gonna work. But I’m more of a opposites attract dude, which is partly why they work for me. However, when it comes to the fantasy of two top player together nothing can really compare to Nadal + Federer. A classic for a reason. Also, I don’t actually think they’re secretly in love at all (hence why I said fantasy), but I do find their tension more like two exes than some genuine rivalry, maybe because they are both come off so childish.

I will say that as annoying as Medvedev can be, I highly doubt him not liking Tsitsipas has anything to do with him thinking Tsitsipas is queer. Medvedev’s childishness is egregious, but as charming and handsome and great butt having as Tsitsipas is, he kind of a pretentious twat. So, neither looks that good in their little rivalry of whatever.

Roger Federer is my absolute idol since 2006. I admire him so much that I cannot think of him in terms of sexuality. To me he's an asexual God who came on earth to show us mortals what absolutely perfect and elegant tennis looks like.

I don’t really look at Federer or Nadal (outside of his ass) in that way. But their interactions and intertwined legacies throughout the years definitely allows for a lot of fantasy fodder. It’s more of a they got great chemistry thing.
