That “Greek yogurt” comment from Tiafoe was really uncalled for. I know Stefanos is kinda cringe-y and has done some lame and shady stuff. But he’s done far less than many top players. It really is starting to feel as if a lot of these players target him because they view him as not being “macho” enough. And there may be some shades of homophobia, no matter the dimensions of Stef’s sexuality or where he is in the gender, sexual, romantic, emotion, commitment spectrum.
My gut feeling is that these top players know something about Stefanos' sexuality that is not public knowledge and some of them can't control some of their homophobic instincts...

I think this is overblown tbh. Seems like a mostly harmless comment made in jest
I haven't seen them targeting him much for anything other than the bathroom breaks, which were shady.

There’s been a handful of micro-aggressive comments from other players over the years. This “one time” is really about four times at this point. As I said, Tsitsipas can be shady and smarmy but he’s done nothing other players haven’t done, and many other players have done worse or have indulged worse antics. The way some guys seem to revel in “testing” him and shading him more than they do any other player does stand out.
I haven't heard them, but that doesn't mean it didn't happen. Can you recall any of said comments?

Zverev, Medvedev, Kyrgios, Tiafoe have all made comments that were not needed. While the way players seem to purposely avoid him or behave when they’re playing against him- it definitely seems like there’s some stuff there that goes behind simply finding him annoying. Like I said, Stefanos is no saint. But he really hasn’t done anything more messy than a bunch of top players.
