Ridiculous. SmhYeah when I think queer baiting I think more along the lines of what Charlie Puth does.
Just checked, that’s randomJust saw the trailer for the squid game competition reality game show on Netflix. Stephen is on it.
Yeah I was watching the trailer and was like omg I know that guy and totally didn’t expect it lolJust checked, that’s random
good on himLooks like he goes pretty far at a minimum
It honestly is that. Stephen and his friends have never denied their heterosexuality and have made that explicitly clear they are straight but Charlie Puth left his sexuality up for speculation and continually appeared to queer audiences. Queer baiting is intentionally leaving things vague and undefined, explicitly stating who you are, what you’re doing, and why you’re doing it is not that.Ridiculous. Smh
Why do they owe anyone an explanation of their sexuality? It honestly is that. I’m not saying they do, I’m saying it can’t be called queerbaiting if from the beginning they told everyone what their sexualities were. Why do they owe anyone an explanation of their sexuality?
I don't think Charlie has been vague though? What are people even basing that on? He's always claimed to be straight more or less.It honestly is that. He did a video with Jungkook and they were a very gay couple in it. He had declined to share his sexual identity in the past. And he was intentionally ambiguous, he did one of those snapchat filters and teased whether he was a bottom or a top. There's more.I don't think Charlie has been vague though? Sounds like you’re forcing someone to come out about their sexuality?I’m not saying they do, I’m saying it can’t be called queerbaiting if from the beginning they told everyone what their sexualities were.
