Why does it seem like everyone is in the top 1% of creators?

lol i think those numbers are skewed.....they're either reading it wrong. As in not understanding if the reporting is actually better if the number is higher; like if a dashboard tell them they're in the 10th percentile of creators, not realizing that doesn't mean they're in the 10% of creators, it means 90% of creators scored better than them

Or, the reporting includes all of us who doesn't actually create anything and just consume, so of course everyone who actually does sell anything paid will be in the 1%.

I just saw another guy who posted he's in the top .7% and he only has 7.1k on 250 posts, meanwhile someone like hatts17 has like 845k likes on 350 posts.

So it seems very unlikely that most creators who repost this metric are interpreting it correctly from where ever they get it.

I thought there was a banner so i was kinda like okay well if OF is adding the banner then it should be accurate but i actually think most people are just appending it to their account name. Or putting it in their bio.
