Only thing I've found so far is that Swell is a credited saxophone player on discogs.

Lastly for this evening, I was able to confirm that Swell's middle initial is S. I had this earlier but I'm tired, I didn't put it together.

So we have Steve S "Wellard" a 41 year old from Canada murdered living in his trailer in Costa Rica, and Swell is Steve S Welland a 41 year old from Calgary, CA living in his trailer in Costa Rica...

I'm sorry to say but unless it's the biggest coincidence in history, it seems that he is sadly dead.

I know it was already mentioned that there could be an article in his hometown but I find that doubtful. There would likely be a process of his family traveling to get his body. Not to mention, I think it's pretty evident from Swell's own posts that he fled Canada. His business seemed to be doing okay (he had several employees at least) up until 5 years ago when he dropped everything and left. Unless I am missing something there, which I may be since I was a new fan anyway, but regardless I find it likely he was in trouble for SA and left.

Also I don't understand why him being online recently is a sign of anything. He only died a week ago. And recent activity could be part of an investigation.

Costa Rican here, that saying refers to a racist statement because in the central valley of Costa Rica, people tend to be whiter than in any other central American countries, beside that notion is old!
