If the authorities got in touch with family members, I would hope they would be willing to obtain the remains. But that is a costly and time consuming situation. Not to mention it's a murder case, I don't know how that works down there.

So assuming they do obtain the remains, do they hold a service? If he's notorious within their community, perhaps not?

I can't assume to know how it would go down. Someone needs to willingly post the obituary. But in some cases, people do not do so. We'll have to wait and see. Or I suppose someone who knows him in real life would confirm eventually.

He explained in some video his strategies for getting guys to participate. He had a very "Bro" attitude (in one video he actually said to the kid "you're like my little brother"). He was very strategic. He purposely didn't look at their dick, slowly moved things in the right direction, supplied alcohol. Often started off convos with inquiring about drugs. I think that was all part of the acting for making those videos. As a white tourist in Central America you just cannot start asking Central American men on the streets to have sex with you. Maybe the pool boy from your hotel, or one of the hotel employees arranged for him to meet someone for sex, but not at the scale of what Swell80 did. But his sex partners in Nicaragua knew each other: Martin, Hamil, Joey, FJ (the drug addict), Javier, etc, they knew each other. He came to Central America because someone from the region invited him to go there; he probably made a contact in Canada that helped him go to Central America and enter into these people's world. The Nicaraguans were very nice with Swell80. Of, course, it was because of the money, but still those people are not dumb and they knew of the health risks of promiscuity.

Basically, anything from unverified users was removed.

to add on to what Broski said, a decade or so ago a woman sued pornhub because they hosted a video or her being raped when she was 14 and refused to take it down when she requested it (im not sure why) Pornhub fought this in the courts. Years later, she went to the media, and when she did others came out with similar stories of unconsensual or underaged videos of of themselves being hosted there. This resulted in Mastercard and Visa pulling card support for pornhub and all other pornhub subsidiaries. In a desperate attempt to seem as if they were doing the right thing, pornhub deleted 80% of its content and began only allowing verified users to post content.

Something similar could potentially happen here. There is no way xvideos didnt know about Swell's activities.
