It is just to keep the levels in your body more stable rather than “up” and “down”…. Twice a week is like half the half-life so there’s always a peak amount in your body. It’s also a lot of work to manage. lolWhat's your difference from when you dose once vs splitting the dose?
I started out this way years back. But after fighting my local pharmacies for proper needles... I went to once a week.It is just to keep the levels in your body more stable rather than “up” and “down”…. Twice a week is like half the half-life so there’s always a peak amount in your body. How has that worked out for you? What kind of gains have you seen? Is this a cycle, or are you cruising on this? That’s almost exactly double my weekly. And I’m on .5 Anastrazole/arimedex.I do "TRT+".
300mgs Test Enanthate/week... 150 Mon, 150 Thursday. 1.5 mgs arimidex/week.
I just buy my syringes and needles from Amazon. One larger needle to extract, smaller needle to inject.I started out this way years back. But after fighting my local pharmacies for proper needles... I went to once a week.
Side note for those thinking about TRT:
You use a thicker needle to extract it from the vile. Then switch to a thinner one for the injection. My pharmacy could rarely get them right (new pharmacist every year, wrong syringe type, wrong attachment type... wrong size). So I went hard core - I use the same 22g extraction needle to also inject. After 5 years... I'm used to the pain.![]()

Normally your doctor shows you when he prescribes it...I just got my first injectable. Is there a video I could watch on here to inject? 2mL (100mG/mL)/2 weeks.
I'm not going to split my dose yet, I'd like to see how I handle it as prescribed.
They told me my 4 pumps a day (50mG/day) was only having about a 5-10% absorption rate so they changed me to injections.
Mine are covered on my insurance plan so I get them at the pharmacy.I just buy my syringes and needles from Amazon. One larger needle to extract, smaller needle to inject.
Normal doesn't usually cover my life.Normally your doctor shows you when he prescribes it...
Wow. Are you in Canada?Normal doesn't usually cover my life.
They gave me 22G syringes and a bottle of test with the amount to use, 2mL/2 wks (100mG/mL). I have to go for more bloodwork the day before the second injection and otherwise I'm on my own.
I’m contemplating. I’m the typical man, being impatient.Strength n size are up, libido too. I cruise on it
I am in Canada and I'm working with my health team to get me to a high normal range. I'm still below normal after a month on Gel Test 7.3 (8-11 is normal?) and when I inquired wtf was going on, they figured out that the gel only has a 5-10% absorption rate so now I'm going to be poking myself in the butt once every couple weeks.Wow. Are you in Canada?
bloodwork is important. That’ll determine your baseline so you can inject just what you need. Otherwise, too high, and you’ll be on a steroid cycle. Lol.
Well... The larger diameter 22g is great for getting it out of the vial. But it smarts a bit if used for the injection (like I do). BTW, the upper/outer quadrant of your thigh muscle is the most common area to inject.Normal doesn't usually cover my life.

I'm aiming for healthy. Any other benefit is a bonus side effect that I happen to love so far.Well... The larger diameter 22g is great for getting it out of the vial. As far as dosing... I'm surprised they have you doing it once every two weeks. Normal half life is about a week. But It appears they are starting you off conservative which is good. If your goal is a balanced endocrine system, this is the right approach. Now if it's muscle growth... I'll defer to the others here that have experience.

I jabbed my upper butt and didn't feel it. The liquid was weird to get in the needle and took some futzing to make sure it's 2ml. After poking it in the muscle, the plunger was hard to push too.
No pain, just an awkward angle to inject at.
Gels, pills, patches, and all that jazz is third rate the an actual injection into your system. For anyone reading this, do the injection and don't screw around with creams and stuff.
I'm with you. It's too weird of an angle for me as well, so I do my quads and have even done my shoulders at times.
Problem with quads/shoulders is every so often you'll hit a vein or do something wrong and it'll hurt a few days after and get all sore and red -- sometimes to the point where it's really painful. It's much easier to deal when your ass is sore vs. limping everywhere or not being able to move one of your arms.
