I’m only up to episode 3, but the panel thought he was a bit of a schemer. I kind of agreed. I find him a bit manipulative even if it’s his indecisiveness.

If it wasn’t for his looks and smile his attitude would wear thin with others.

Yeah I've heard that for Japanese people Taeheon "screams" Korean, and I guess they're not into that? I agree he's the cutest. I find Shun very tedious.

It's probably coz he is Korean. Even I'm baffled why they don't find him attractive.

Oops, that too - worth it. The little celebratory claps he does when something good happens gets me every time.

As others have said, it would seem the fact he's Korean is going against him (japanese social medial, according to reddit, are being awful) but I'm just hoping that maybe we'll get some Taeheon focused episodes coming up. Usak realises the one who got away, returns from work abroad, asks Taeheon to go for a sauna/overnight date, I watch the episode on repeat...

I just hope it doesn't cycle back around to Shun and Dai.

It’s interesting that we all love Taeheon but he’s not getting any traction on the show or in Japan. I wonder if that says something about western vs Japanese beauty standards.

I also love Taeheon, but to be honest, in Japan he is the one in the cast with a style closest to what they call 量産型 (mass production) gay, lol.
His beard and hairstyle are the most cliche possible among gay men in Japan.

Don't get me wrong. I do think he is probably popular at night, but in a reality show where half the cast are Instagrammers and everybody has a developed fashion sense, I can imagine they wouldn't pay that much attention to the guy who looks like any well-dressed guy in a gay club.

Well, this is all too sad.
Imo, Taeheon is just getting into that "younger" daddy look, and I personally am really attracted to that. When someone looks masculine but sweet, but not gay.
But now, learning what you all have said about him, at least I know why nobody on the show is really into him (or at least they don't show it).
But we all have to appreciate how he's so kind with everyone, despite the fact that there isn't much welcome from the others.

Also, regardin the last episode, I am really sad that Kazuto chose to go with Alan, since he said that he was really attracted to Usak AND he recieved a love confession from him that night.

I think what happened was that Kazuto liked Usak more but found him further to reach and when Alan told him about his feelings, he was like "Yeah, Alan isn't particularly bad looking so let's go on that date with him that's about to come up" so he agreed to Alan's idea of going together. And then Usak showed up. And I think he wanted to go with Usak more, but since he is well-mannered and too kind to turn someone down when he already made a "promise", he couldn't go back on his word and not write Alan's name the next day. And after seeing his (Kazuto's) face when Usak came downstairs packed up, I am sure he regreted not going on that sleepover date with him. I could sense that he felt Alan was too much and too pushy and straight forward for his taste, and I know that he knows that Usak wouldn't have behaved the same way did he go with him.
Usak is a prime example of how the people who seem the most confident and intimidating are in fact very sensible and maybe even unsure of themselves.

I was also very disappointed, since Kazuto is by far my favorite and I hate Alan my least favorite.

I mean, Alan surely can be hot, but I feel like he got every single stereotype Japanese people have of foreigners and made a personality out of it. Every single time he says "O mai ga-" in Japanese something inside of me screams, lol.
Also the whole "I'm not sure I'm gonna be able to read it because of my Japanese" when reading the tablet... Bitch, you've said yourself that you spent your whole life in Japan and has never been to Brazil (nor Italy), just stop.

As for the others:

I do think Shun makes for some funny moments in the reality show, but god I would never date him. Second most unbearable after Alan.

Kazuto is perfect in everything he does (including the porn past hahah). I don't think there is a winner in this reality show, but Kazuto for the win anyway, lol.
Taeheon also seems to have a very nice vibe, I hope we get to see more of his interactions in the remaining episodes.

Usak is not my type but his development was definitely interesting. I wish he didn't rush out of the program so we could see more of him.

Dai is ok, I guess? Although I don't understand how someone 23 yo can look that old. I wish he let the thing with Shun go and focus on something else, but I have the feeling that we are gonna get this story until the end of the season. D=

My feeling is the love quad-angle between Kazuto-Ryota-Usak-Alan for me is kinda obviously scripted for me.
How possible that all 3 guys confessed their feeling in almost the same day while the next day they have dating mission!

I like the show but I think the editing is bad. It's like they lost many things between the cuts. Time passes so fast while we didn't see much the member's interactions.
