I saw Steve Howey at a CVS once, he's hot af in person, but looked PISSED.

The Only reason Steve Howey did frontal was because it was in the contract for the pilot. I think Cameron Monahan actively wanted to push his limits/boundaries as an actor and that's why when it was legal for him to be nude he was ready and willing. The Carl character (and the actor playing him) was so young when the show started. He has grown up around the Cast, Crew and Writers. I think nudity would probably be incredibly awkward for all involved. He might even have No Nudity as part of his contract.

That’s a really good point about Carl. Reminds me of what happened when Maisie Williams did a nude scene on Game of Thrones last year. People didn’t respond well because she was a small child when GoT debuted, even though that was a decade ago.

Turns out Shameless is ending next season. Can't say I'm surprised, the last couple of seasons have seemed a bit aimless for a lot of the characters, but I'll still miss my weekly Shameless men fix.
