The Thread for Discussion about Models & Celebrities Sexuality

I'll take exception to that. The past threads got messy, sure, but there was very little namecalling in the last Kit Connor thread - and I should know, since I did call someone a name and got Warned for it loll! But it was an isolated incident. Most of the thread was a lovefest over his viral sensation gym pix this past week.

What happened instead was a lot of complimentary posts talking about how hot he was were suddenly deleted. As soon as some folks who do not like sexy talk about the cast of Kit Connor's TV show got to the board and got wind of his gym pix going viral all over social media, several thirsty posts that weren't against the rules (not mine, but other people's) began getting randomly reported and removed and then the entire thread went down in a matter of hours. Nothing went apeshit in there during that time.

And we were told, in the last post by Support, that it wasn't about namecalling. We were told it was about posts that could jeopardize LPSG. But there was nothing doing that that I saw, certainly nothing that warranted a permanent lock. There were no posts discussing the characters of the TV show he's on (I did mention the title of the show and was told even that was unacceptable, so I am not doing that now), just how hot Kit Connor was or how hot his hairy muscletits were in his gym pix. And just talking about those tits got posts removed. (Will they again because I mention them here?)

The only conclusion I can come to, after repeat experiences with this and with certain folks in multiple threads for several performers, is that there are overzealous fans who are posters on this forum who cannot tell the difference between a TV show and reality, cannot accept the forum treating Kit Connor as someone other than his role on TV and discussing him as a sexy adult male, and are willing to spam reports to the Admin to shut down those threads if they can't stop adult-oriented discussion about him and some other actors. And that's unfair to the bulk of the thread which AFAIC played by the rules.

But MisterB knows how I feel about this and I appreciated him listening, so I'm just adding my two cents. I don't blame him, but I think it's ridiculous that we have to tolerate schoolmarm posters trying to control the board via report spam to 'protect' celebrities who are adult men.
Hear here! Exactly. Members spamming admins to shut down posts that threaten their idealized fantasies about performers or their labels for themselves is EXACTLY what goes on far too much here. People INSIST on having their imaginary relationships, which is stoopid, asinine and sad.

Oh please don't act so pure and innocent. In a movie pairing involving a gay guy and a hot straight actor, everybody knows that that gay actor would be way more excited and would definitely take advantage to have kissing scenes and love scenes with that hot straight dude he gets to be paired with, more than the other way around. It's like a wish/fantasy come true for the gay actor.
You know, most people are not so keen on filming sex scenes, even less with people not attracted to them in the slightest. Some of those gay actors also have real life husbands or boyfriends, so I doubt they would "take advantage" of having love scenes with anyone.

It's certainly not impossible that people have taken advantage. But the idea that its common is ridiculous.

How would that work exactly? Sex scenes are directed after all. How is one "taking advantage" over the scene partner precisely? At least in a gay scene. I can sort of get that logic with a man and a woman, with an obvious difference in strength.

Hi Everyone: If you want to talk about sexuality or other related issues relating to celebrities, performers, and models, then this is the thread to do just that. Or just talk about the general topic of sexuality. How it relates to those in the spotlight.

Please be respectful with your posts about the celebrity/performer and those you discuss. And please let's work hard to be respectful toward each other. Agree to disagree if you need, but please don't denigrate into name calling or other negativity. If you can't make your point without resorting to such, what then is your point. ;)

And of course we'll need to be mindful that LPSG has Rules about making allegations about someone you do not know to be true; have the receipts for. That's a false allegation. And we don't allow such.

Our goal is to remove this type of content from the specific performer threads. And hopefully eliminate the Reports we receive from performer threads when they go off topic with this type of content and often devolve into arguing and bickering.

If you have any questions about how we envision this thread to work, you can tag me into the thread or send me a DM. We appreciate your cooperation as we continue to work to make LPSG a positive and inclusive community for all who wish to be here.

Thanks!

How I want to a convention and everyone knew Christain Coulsan was gay its not been offically said he is gay but at the Harry Potter con EVERYONE knew he was gay

What would have happened if he had said he was just a straight ally? The backlash and harrasment would have continued. But by saying he's bisexual, then suddenly it stopped. This was the only way out.

People don't have to be gay to play gays, but somehow the fandom feels they have to be gay.
we wouldnt feel that way if there were any openly gay actors playing gay roles hello

How many straights play gay but we still dont have gay man play gay roles openly

How do "we" know that he's gay exactly?

It's hardly "every hot actor" though, is it? There are any number of hot actors who don't have gay rumours about them, here or anywhere else.
Nah.. every hot Hollywood actor that comes out, the gays would always bring up a narrative how that guy is gay or something to suffice their fantasy of possibly sleeping with him.

no but why are the that are gay dont come out? Because they want us to come out first then they feel safe to come out.

LOL, the self-loathing, projection and delusion is REAL here. Gotta love gay hikikomori who claim to know how other men think. Better to worry about oneself. Live and let live! Moving on.....
No not self loathing just the fact that a ton of actors who are gay are still in the closet

As a theater student myself I want you to attend a theater class for a whole month and see the amount of homosexuals there, the are many gay/bi men in Hollywood and many actors/celebrities have talked about that( Kate Winslet even talked about it)

But lpsg user Trybogus01 knows better than the people who actually part of Hollywood
