Agreed, and he had an aneurism, it wasn't like he was told he was on his way out. But if you read about this it's like MS where it gets progressively worse and life expectancy is lower than average. He obviously hadn't gotten to that stage yet as he was working, etc., but I'm sure he was aware of it. Maybe the home purchase was to make sure the woman in his life was taken care of.
