ah quite sure e will eventually, all live in harmpny
if its in a next life,s9o be it
we,humankind, really dont have a valid say in our lives
no control over whatsoever
Living in harmony is a noble goal. Unfortunately, peace seems to elude mankind, for differing mindsets will in the end stimulate strife through distrust, fear, scapegoating, and dehumanizing.
I can witness this unfold daily by watching news coverage with people, often the same people, filled with anger and hatred from fear. Fear is a wildly successful group motivator. Outsiders (particularly those that can be easily labeled) are dehumanized and scapegoated to help foster unity through a display of strength. (I'm sure Jane Goodall was equally fascinated watching dynamics of chimpanzee behavior.) The sad truth is mankind hasn't evolved all that far.

personal contentment maybe hard fought for,but perhaps achievable
lower our expectations and especially avoid those that think there role is to lead us
,nave lived quite successfully applying this

I wouldn't worry about all of this , the human race will die out in about 5,000 years , it's starting now . People put the biggest strain on the planet . No one wants to address that

I think you're being rather generous giving mankind 5,000 years. Mankind isn't just looking over the cliff face of disaster; we're racing toward it full speed like Thelma and Louise.

I hold onto a small vestige of hope.

As they say: "Let's plan for the worst and hope for the best."

We have the ability to overcome these challenges. Now we'll see if we have the fortitude to transcend our weaknesses.

Hope is often viewed incredulously. Often people witnessing hope give a flabbergasted look as if they've just seen a unicorn.
Meanwhile there's no shortage of fear, which is only heightened with political rhetoric.
