A lot of it is Jealousy. Timothee Chalamet is an A-list actor who is a big box office draw. He's young, successful and that makes him a threat. But as they say, you wouldn't be relevant - unless you have haters (Having Anger Towards Everyone Reaching Success), lol.

We’re expecting it end of next year/early 2027 (I hate how futuristic that sounds). But Dune is an incredible film that deserves the fanfare it got, regardless of its professional accolades.
Timmy was a magnifying Paul, so I think he deserves credit for his effort in it.
But I’ll always say #justiceforCMBYN

Timothee is a wonderful talent. I just find the movies he chooses to involve himself in uninteresting. I want more relatable titles for him. I don't know a single person who actually enjoyed Dune. But I guess being a success at the box office is all that matters?
I actually think Timmy is hilarious. All of his interviews are filled with laughter and charn. His rapping days at LaGuardia still are hilarious. And i loved him as Smokechedda Da Assgedda LMFAOOOO With the right script, I could see him being a huge comedic, Jim Carrey-esque romance comedy actor
