Honestly he’s an incredible talent and he’s genuinely very handsome so this will be a career we will all continue to watch rise :)

It's rare that I get genuinely excited for celebrities, but following Timothee's press and awards tour has been delightful. He's endearingly normal, awkward and articulate, and he seems to really appreciate how special this time is for him. It's been refreshing and really nice to see. He's a genuine talent and this is just the start of what will be a long career, but I can't help but feel that this role in CMBYN is one that will define him for a long time to come.

I think so too moreso that a sequel is lurking. But hey, not bad for a role to be defined with right? He has so much wisdom for his age, the way he does his interviews, he sounds like he has been in the biz for a long time.

Did the film evoke anyone's feelings of their first love and how it ended? Definitely did for me. I identified very closely to Elio, how he behaved around Oliver especially when he realised the attraction. Haha. The feeling of when it ended, like everything else had and nothing would be better was very real.
I loved the film and the actors. Unfortunetly for me, I’m at the age where I can relate to both situations, i.e. young being in love with older and older falling in love with younger. Not being allowed to act on those feelings/urges hurts a great deal. I weep each time I watch the movie.
