Getting pretty pissed off today trying to get a referral from a primary care physician and then getting hold of a specialist. No one wants to do their fucking job, answer a phone or return calls anymore. This has been going on for days and feel like I'm at the end of a rope. Whatever happened to employees whose sole function is to man the phones during business hours instead of relying on voice mail and "Press this number for *fill in the blank*" horseshit?

Sad and scared because yet another fool is in charge at the very top, and he just fired the very much more experienced of two right-hand men. (Twice as experienced, in fact.)

What in the hell was he thinking?

And does this mean the firing squads are commencing?

In any case, I’m polishing up my resume. Wish me luck as I accelerate my job search—or else decide to take a leap into the unknown and start my own business.
