Again this is about their relationship specifically.

Lance was responding to Sam’s acceptance speech where they thought they were the first gay Oscar winner, so it was more of a clapback than a spontaneous jealousy thing.
As for their relationship, well, nothing is official. I have heard stories that I believe about them playing around both together and separately, and there have been instances with Tom filmed flirting in a bar, or that guy claiming he had an affair with him, that suggest that have some degree of open relationship. It makes sense to me, and seems to match their vibe, but I’m sure some other people here will passionately insist that they’re not in an open relationship
