Troye sivan

I don't think Charli is mainstream at all. She just has a very vocal fan base that makes lots of noise when she has new stuff out, but she is definitely not a mainstream star yet.
she's like Little Mix or Carly Rae Jepsen, much bigger outside the US

she really isn't.
charli and troye are basically on the same level. they're popular because they have a gay audience. they're not that big in terms of career. you might think they are because you constantly see them, but you constantly see them because algorithms know you're gay and push that content on you.
it's like that song on tik tok a few months ago from some girl "crazy how the very first sin was a woman who ate". that song seemed to be EVERYWHERE, but it wasn't, it was just constantly popping up on gay tik tok so it looked like it was super popular.
it's the same with charli. it's not that she's a big artists, it's that she has a gay audience, and so we see her as being very popular because gays are always on her

You’re probably right but Brat is just performing a lot better than Something to Give Each Other did. Brat debuted with over 15 millions streams and 82k units versus and is still doing well whereas STGE debuted with 8 million and 31k units. Maybe Troye’s next album will also do bigger numbers.
