Don’t forget about Deaton. He was good for a while lol
aside from posey Arden was the only main cast member who was a poc. People like Mason Deaton and Braeden at the most reoccurring that is until they were killed/written off. Hell half the time their names never appeared in the credits of the first scene. Make no mistake, I am not calling anyone racist, Im just saying lack of equal represensation and what's going on with Arden Cho is proof of that right now. Side question is the issue with Arden is Teen Wolf (Jeff davis and company) at fault or paramount+ whos mostly at fault or are they the same?

I don't think the film will do well. Dylan O'Brien is far more popular than Tyler Posey, as is Tyler Hoechlin. The Arden mess, combined with the absence of popular actors, seems like another blow.
Oh yeah just because Scott's the main character didnt make him the most popular everybody was always talking about Dylan Obrien, Colton Haynes or Tyler Hecholin....(or my favorites the twins, and JR)

Posey is Latino, so the show's leading actor is a person of color.
Latino is not a race. Latino is everyone who speaks Latin based language. Latinos can be any race. You have white, black, Native American and mixed latinos.
Original European "Latinos" (Spain, Portugal, Italy, France, Romania, Andorra and San Marino) are white.
Majory of Latinos from Argentina for example are white. Brasil has a lot of white and Black latinos.

Taylor is white latino.

Tyler (not Taylor} is Mexican, and also Scottish, same as myself. Quit trying to fit people of multiple races into just one box. We love and represent all of our communities.

I always find it annoying when a person tries to define a box for someone else. Tries to tell us what race they are especially when they're of mixed heritage and we don't know their complete story. It's for that person to decide how to explain themselves, based upon their heritage and life history. Not have someone try to hijack their life and tell them what they are and by extension, what they've experienced.

he's half-white, but i know that's not important but... him being a POC lead doesn't really equate to the representation of asians and blacks on the show. well, besides mason and braeden, i really don't recall a lot of strong representation in that circumstance.
Yeah, I didn't say the show did a good job of representing Asian or Black folks. But what I was quoting said that Cho was the only actor of color on the show at all, not that she was the only Asian lead actor. And that isn't true.

None of this is true. Tyler's dad is white but his late mother, a Mexican woman, was not white.

Latinx identity is a particularly complicated one as it is broadly cultural more than it is racial, even though it also has racial aspects. It's a lot to get into. However, if we're breaking down the nitty-gritty racial makeup of a single actor on the show, then it probably means that there isn't a lot of diversity there to begin with.

Mexican again is not race. Mexican is nationality. Mexicans can be any race. Over 40% of Mexican population identifies as white.

It really gets old AF when people feel that they have the right to identify other people. Be it race or sexuality.

You keep demanding that TYLER is "white latino". Do you know his mother's ethnic background / history? Other than that she was born in Mexico? Using your statistics, she has a 60% chance of NOT identifying as "white". And if she doesn't, Tyler would have that same ancestry. I can't find anything, anywhere about his mother's ancestry, maybe she had indigenous ancestry and that would be considered POC. Maybe she did consider herself white. I'm pretty sure you have no clue and are just talking out your ass.

So rather than hoisting your own bigotries onto TYLER's ancestry, why not just let TYLER define himself?

Lol

Lol The whole point is... You can not claim that Tyler is POC either.

The fact that his mother is latina, does not make her or Tyler POC by default. Because Latino is not race.

And yet you have absolutely proclaimed, several times, that he is white Latino ... hypocrisy much?

Lol it was my reply to person who called him POC just because his mother is Latina.

Tyler looks white, and there is absolutely no proofs that he is not white.

Also uneducated bigots need to learn that Latino is linguistic group not race. Latinos are very diverse and they come in all races.
