I will admit that when Teen Wolf initially aired I expected at least a couple of guys from the bast to end up with solid careers, if not become “stars”. Dylan ended up getting the biggest opportunities, partially because he is perhaps the only halfway passable male actor from the ensemble, partially because he is straight/hetero-leaning presenting/assumed, partially because he seemed to have less baggage and demons than some others. Dylan not returning even for a cameo is somewhat lame. Even Melissa McCarthy returned to the Gilmore Girls revival for a scene. But that’s his business. And maybe there’s stuff we don’t know.

I guess this is an opportunity for some of these guys to get some quick coin and get their name back associated with acting as opposed to associated with other stuff.
Melissa McCarthy only returned when she pretended she wasn’t asked to come back, but then it was revealed she was and her agent informed them she was too busy to return and that got her some flack so she agreed to appear for just like 3 minutes, to appease the fans, she was “too big” to return.

Not me reading about Gilmore girls on LPSG :joy: lmfao, I do wish she had more scenes in the revival.

tyler hoechlin has done more than OK, but did you just me younger cast members (and, I'd agree if you said TH had done well mainly out of one character...)

Right. Because he’s been doing well too. I think him and Dylan are the most known from the show and the most popular because of their ship. Plus, their characters I feel were the ones that were the most noticeable and it was probably by accident. Dylan’s character was funny and Hoechlin‘s character was sexy. So there was that. But yeah, those two have definitely been doing well. I mean, even JR and Ian have been doing somewhat well. Maybe not as well as the other two, but it’s still some thing.

I’m aware of what happened. But Dylan is not close to being as popular as Melissa was then. Even Clooney returned to ER. I don’t see the harm in doing one or two scenes. But perhaps there’s some bad blood or tension or traumas there. We’ll never know. But if it’s strictly about “I’m too big to appear in a TV movie for my old show” then it’s kinda lame.

The revival in general was rushed. It was evident the producers just wanted to quickly make something before the buzz dies down. It came off rather sloppy. There were a handful of good scenes though.

From the Dylan thread:

He's 100% talking about Teen Wolf and the showrunner/director. I wonder if Tyler is secretly happy that Dylan isn't part of the movie, the show practically became the Stiles show during its peak.

I would think he respects why his good friend wouldn’t want to work someone like Jeff Davis again when he has more opportunities.

I know this is super late to the party, but I kind of lost track when he was doing OF and only now just learned about the live chat he did where he showed the tip of his D and answered a bunch of "naughty" questions. There are clips saved in the thread but I was wondering if there was/is a full recording of the chat?

The clip showing the tip of his dick is the only part that's worth.

Everything else he said he then retracted on a later interview where he admitted to being straight and most of it being scripted.

What was "retracted"? The clips I've seen didn't have anything worth taking back. I'm assuming from his interaction with the people who were watching?

He’s making it up. He just feels better when he puts down Tyler. It’s kind of weird behavior on their part. He’s referring to an interview where he talks about being straight. He’s mentioned being sexually fluid which really isn’t the same as coming out as queer, as you can be straight and still experiment which is what he’s admitted to doing.

Ultimately, it’s his business what he wants to share. But seabas has some weird vendetta against him. Personally I think he’s secretly a stan. Why else would someone obsessively waste their time regularly checking on a thread of someone they supposedly hate?
