He needed money when he did the app. When he started onlyfans and scammed people, and when he asked for donations "for his sister". He is always desperate for money
didnt he also claim donations were going to a charity, but no one ever got confirmation if he really donated that money?

Yep. It amazes me how OF is still up and running with their shady business practices.
Onlyfans has nothing to do with it. If Tyler said he was donating his OF earnings but never did, that is entirely on Tyler.

For a celebrity to make an OF and say that their profits will be donated to causes and associations is the perfect excuse for them to scam people. So nasty tbh.

OF has purposely not implemented certain rules over the years that would dissuade scamming and manipulating the costumer. It would have been relatively easy to put in certain rules. The fact that there are still no previews or confirmation of videos until you pay or that spamming is still allowed shows how much the site doesn’t care. So, they have some responsibility for the nonsense. The reason scammy behaviors are so rampant is because folks know there’s no consequences.

Like many of these celebs, OF probably paid Tyler to open up an account and promote it. Almost every time a celeb claims they’ve opened up an OF to “feel closer” to their fan base it’s OF paying them. OF has tried to make the site more than a sex work site. Tyler simply went about things in a tacky and scam-y way: making folks pay $30 a month for videos in underwear, using his potential queer dynamics and queer experiences to draw up buzz, using sex workers to make the account seem spicier than it was, other people pretending to be him while engaging with subscribers, lying about where the profits were going. I’m not that mad about it, because it’s apparent he’s had a good amount of drug, mental health and financial issues, and people should know what OF is about at this point.
