I've really loving this thread.

I have my own story to share... like a lot of guys, I'd always fantasized about appearing in Playgirl, though I was nowhere in the league of their centerfolds. But one day a buddy at the gym who was a photographer was saying he'd always wanted to submit photos to Playgirl as a photographer. I told him about my interest and he suggested we submit something to the "Real Men" section. We sent in a few photos and they picked a couple to publish. OK, so it was just the Real Men section, but hey I'd made it into Playgirl! This was in 2003.

Below is a photo from the 2003 publication, and a current one twenty years later - now a bearded daddy.

In UNZIPPED, the 1995 documentary about fashion designer Isaac Mizrahi, Doug Koziak makes an uncredited cameo when he accompanies lesbian Canadian fashion model Ève Salvail on a look-see to Mizrahi's Soho studio. Assuming that she and Koziak were friends, and not just modeling colleagues or (God forbid, beards!) it makes me wonder...

Doug was a hottie. And young! Jesus. Only 19 when he first appeared. I've always love open bathrobe shots, which Playgirl has always excelled at. If anyone has hard copies from the late 1990s, there's a pick of him in a colorful bathrobe from his original July 1993 MOM shoot in Jamaica. The robe is hanging off his shoulders and his cock is fuller than most other pics of him. *Slurp!*
