waking up hard but no sensation / libido

hi. i get frequent awakenings where i'm just restless and agitated. i can sense it would usually be a time in the night or morning where i'd wake up and feel some warmth or arousal but for over a year now, i get erections that are not pleasurable at all. even touch just feels like my body / brain doesn't even get turned on or want anything but i know deep down i need the arousal to feel comfortable and to drift off back to sleep.

any idea why i'd be waking up not feeling turned on but hard? and the penis and balls have no or very little pleasant sensation?

That's pretty normal. Night time erection doesn't mean you are horny. It makes sure it's still working. I often wake up in the middle of the night because the uncontrollable hard erection. I just roll over and go back to sleep. I wasn't going to jerk off and cum.

I guess. I just don’t feel as horny as often and it’s kinda frustrating
