I can understand discussing the BBC myth and stereotype, but casual objectification isn't okay. The more often we do it, the more subconscious it becomes, which is detrimental. This is the Internet, so the capacity for understanding just how a person feels in a discussion is somewhat minimized. So I can understand the need to simply remind people that human beings are more than just the parts we fixate on our the traits we associste with them. Yes, it's fine to have a discussion, but there is a way too discuss these things while maintaining dignity and respect on both sides and to the subject matter. Cursing at one another isn't a good thing either, for the record.
