Those of us who see him regularly feel we have a strong connection with him. He shares his personal life with us, and vice-versa. It’s part of the Apollo Phoenix “package,” and it’s designed to maximize, not only our enjoyment, but his. A couple of hours with him is quite an experience, and he gets off on that intense personal, and physical, interaction. We are not in fact his hand-picked stable of fuck-buddies, but he is phenomenally successful in making us think we are. That takes time, and effort, and my sense is that he would rather spend his time and energy building deeper relationships with a smaller number of guys, than cranking out content for a crowd of anonymous wankers.
