I always made a lot of precum so it never occurred to me to try lube until I was in my twenties. I hate waterbased stuff because it gets sticky really fast. Silicone is great because it's slick and mixes nice with my precum, but it's annoying to clean off. I was out of it about a year ago and desperate for a wank, so I tried some organic coconut oil I had in the kitchen. Now I won't use anything else, it smells so good and it stays very slick.
