Hi there,

Yummy here (Alex)

I am so sorry you feel this way about Beach Boys. We are extremely proud and happy with the outcome of this printed book.

During the marketing of the book, we have have used images that don't end up in the edited version of the book, we are clear about this in all our marketing communications, emails and on the website itself.

The reason, is that until we have edited any of our books, magazines etc, which we do once we have all the material to hand and we have designed and laid them out. Our editors and in this case the photographer as well, then chooses the best images that tell a brilliant story. These make the cut and appear in the book.

Please also remember that we only have a limited number of pages to print, as the cost of paper his huge as is the cost to print.

But essentially, we believe in truly beautiful photographic story telling of nude men and all we are interested in doing is creating something that people will love and keep and say nice things about. But we are totally open to comments where you feel we could do better, and we learn from these.

The paper quality is the same we use in our flagship publication Yummy, its thick, glossy and feels great. I am sorry that you feel that its not.

Again, our passion is about giving our customers something we love and totally believe in, and doing our best.

The company is tiny... we are made up of a husband and husband, plus a designer and a customer care person, we are human and do this because we love it. Its not about trying to dupe anyone, its about giving customers something they LOVE and we can be proud of. Which we are.

I don't activity monitor this forum, I feel I should leave it to you all to have your say and talk about the work we publish. Therefore, if there is a passionate point that you feel we need know, do email us, as we do want to know.

If anyone ever feels they need help and support on a product they have bought, or are waiting on, please do email us on shop @ yummy . men (remove the spaces when emailing) - its the best way to get answers.

TXcowboi, we are sorry you feel this away about us and our work, we are just trying to do our very best and if we have fallen short for you, do get in touch with me and Emily in customer care.
you might want to unwrap them via email

Alex,

You claim that your team does not actively monitor this thread to counteract criticism of your business practices and here you are responding to this thread.

You openly acknowledge that your team’s headcount and current capacity is leading to a subpar customer experience; seems like you know the solution.

While I understand that edits may impact the final publication, your team already knows which photos did and did not make the final publication.

How can you, in good faith, continue to promote the book both in marketing emails and in your current product web listing, using photos you now know are not included in the final print?

I'm pretty sure that's a prosthetic from the way it just hangs & doesn't react to touch or movement. Also look at the pubic hair, inconsistent with the trail or the hair on his legs. Sad.

This guy keeps writing the same false statements in all LPSG groups related to models featured in the book or Yummy. He claims Micah doesn’t have three images he liked inside the book. Well, there were others or similar ones. He is still pretty much naked in all of them, and before this book, we hadn’t even seen his bum ever! What about the other 92 models featured in the book? Many of them have never been seen full frontal or nude anywhere else! I guess this guy is probably just unhappy with his life and needs someone to make him feel happy and loved. I think Micah is straight so no luck there :)

My biggest criticism about the book is the same as for their magazines: it takes too long. It is not acceptable that I ordered the book in January, was promised it would be delivered in April, and didn’t receive it until almost July. Other than that, I am okay with it, and I like that it looks totally different from Yummy.

And yes, just because I’m a fan and buy everything Yummy does, now he’s going to start saying I’m a spy for the magazine because I protect the magazine too much. That’s what people do when they run out of logical arguments
Hey! May I ask if in the book Alex Klose does full frontal nudes? Thx man

Still haven't received shipping notification for the book, despite pre-ordering on the morning of the first day it was available. Emailed last week and was told I would get a notification that week. Super frustrating, especially since they charged me at the time of the pre-order and not upon shipping. Just want a refund at this point.

Keep emailing them. They will eventually put it as priority.
