I'd like to think he's improved rather than changed.
I would say evolved. He seems to be tying his image with his actual age. He is still a bit young for a Daddy, but it works well.
It probably wouldn't hurt either for him to avoid typecasting and getting lost when his face and body just can't compete with the 20-somethings. He can audition for a odd variety of things, keep work coming, but be remembered as the cutie he used to be, but in a more mature role. Much better than a sad case of trying to play early 20's roles while in your late 30's.
He is just getting ahead of the game.

There was that little while where he was doing some real acting movies, then he ended up in dumb comedies but I think he might be able to do it. The MCU isn't very deep anyway so I think he could be Marvel's Wolverine. But I'm not sure they want to do their own X-Men so soon.

He still has the same body. It's just that he's carrying a little bit more fat this time which I don't mind. Personally I prefer him now a bit more.
He was unbearably hot in Baywatch but at the same time looked dehydrated and older.

The debate this has sparked is so dumb. On the left is him post rehab, when he threw himself into working out as a way to stay sober. He spoke publicly about how in retrospect it wasn’t healthy or something people should aspire to. He probably was on steroids then tbh. Now he’s still fit but more normal, healthy looking. He’s also turning 33 this year so he looks like an adult and not a frat boy. That’s literally it.
He definitely looks 100% better and healthier now with some weight on him.
