Suspect it’s one of those things where he’s taken something about himself that others might consider a negative (being on the smaller side down there) and turned it into a joke, with some self deprecating humour and exaggeration about his lack of size.

Yeah, he's probably 5 - 5.5", which isn't small, just the size queens out here making 7" sound average. Like if you love your boyfriend enough, you'll find a way to use his cock comfortably, whether it's 2" or 12". Even though size is objective, we all know what's big and small, but it's biology, and throwing shade does absolutely NOTHING.
