How so? He murdered a friend and was convicted.
In his defence, he was found, in the autopsy, to have one of the most severe cases of chronic traumatic encephalopathy that researchers had ever seen in a man so young. We can ask whether he was really a full agent in his actions, evil as they were.

I can’t help but feel bad for him even though he killed someone.

Not excusing him at all but all things point to him being gay but not coming out due to his strict father, football career, and being in the NFL. All that pent up anger of hiding who he truly was, combined with traumatic brain concussions and injury’s, had to result in poor judgement and decision making. The guy he killed probably knew he was gay and was planning to out him...

The saddest thing is he choose to kill himself rather than come out and be true to himself. He was so talented and handsome. Shame.

I’ve never seen that photo before and I’ve seen just about all of them.

He clearly was quite early in completing puberty. I am going to assume (for the sake of legality) that he has already turned 18 at this point in his high school career.
