I haven't watched the show so this comment will be more like a supposition, but I think this show was made only to expose this man's muscular ass as well as his magnificient hot physique because I don't think the plot is that interesting. You know just like GOT and its "sexposition". But I'm just saying. I haven't watched it yet.

Havent watched it either but it's based on a book that does the exact same thing of sexualizing the character but even more so if I'm not mistaken, so I don't think it was ever meant to be anything more than fighting and fucking which is why people are liking it ig

Wait. So the book is like that? It's like a kind of "rose" novel or something like that? It's a totally different adaotation from the movies with Tom Cruise then. Or is that another "Jack Reacher"?

I have seen it and you have offered a thoroughly wrong assessment on all counts. He does get the ass out occasionally, but its usually with a reason as opposed to gratuitous as in other shows (ala. Sullivan Stapleton getting his out every ep for no reason on "Strike Back").

The plot is surprisingly complicated, a lot of twists and reversals - more so than the Tom Cruise films. The character's large physical size is a key aspect to him though and is regularly commented on and plays into the story - the Cruise films weren't able to do that.

I mentioned it was a supposition because I haven't watched it and I'm not gonna do it.
I watched a Jack Reacher movie with Tom Cruise in it and it was really good and without nudity which is something that many tv shows and movies have always been exploiting to get more viewers even if the plot it's interested or not. Just like Sense8 and that show called "Vida" I didn't even know what it was about. Lol
At least South Korean shows don't depend too much on that and their plots are entertaining.

South Korean movies have a lot of nudity e.g. Song Seung-heon in Obsessed. They are famous with erotic movies.

Any movie around the world has nudity, what matters is how important or necessary it is for the plot not only because I want this actor/actress to show up naked because he/she is hot and popular.
