Here’s a double jockstrap NFL pic. This is from Sofi stadium so it has to be 2020 or newer.

It definitely does seem like fewer and fewer players wear jockstraps every single year.

The only player that I know for certain wore jockstraps this season just so happens to be Harrison Butker of all players.

Why "of all players"? I don't follow football so is it unusual that

Butker is extremely conservative, he was just at the White House as a guest of Trump. Many would call his views misogynistic and homophobic so it's kind of ironic that he is one of the few current NFL players that regularly wears the favorite underwear of many gay men - jockstraps.

Ha! I love a little irony. Altho.... I don't think it's right that the jockstrap has become SUCH a gay icon. It'd be nice if it were just... well... an athletic supporter. In fact, I think guys are hotter in jocks when they're not looking coyly for other guys but are just unselfconsciously going about their business.

I agree, I wish jocks were more mainstream again and more straight guys would wear them regularly - especially at the gym.
