"athletic" positions

Being a fan of fitness myself, I've always been attracted to (sort of) athletic positions: stand-up, hold-in-arms...

I've always find this kind of positions convenient for quickies, shower sex, but I'm curious, what do you think of these, and what have been your experiences with other guys?

Usually, girls I've been with like a lot the "hold in arms" position, even if it should not be everyday; and I've myself found the "both stand-up with the girl having one leg up" especially difficult to sustain for a long time, as I'm tall and most of my partners were small... It felt like leg day! ;-)

He's about 6 inches taller than me so anything standing up is a challenge and especially in the shower. Once he was holding me up by my ass and I was soapy and started to slip. I panicked and kneed him right in the balls. I still feel awful about that!

Some of these positions look like they would be novel and nice to try for 2mins, but any longer than that and the concentration it took to stay in that position would start to impinge on my enjoyment.
I'm really into something similar to this one (but easier) at the moment though:

all of these positions lack the full body contact/friction that i love so much about sex
i like feeling his whole body flex/move
that sticky skinned seal of bodies kinda molding to each other

all of the highlighted positions seem more camera angle friendly
a "get up in there with the high-def" thang
