The sad part is that Riverdale started out good and then declined quickly. Legends should have gotten an eighth and final season to wrap things up.

I just hope we get to see Ben in the future. Preferably in more M/M content.
They shoulda introduced Ben waaaaay earlier, but they had the bi sister, and by tvd rules, there can only be one token queer character/ship at any given time (or it'll take away from the dozen other chemistryless het couples who were randomly thrown together to see what sticks before being quietly forgotten)
I was mainly just thinking about gay / bi men honestly. Every other one maybe had 3 kisses before dying. And it’s honestly pathetic how Julie got away with SO little lgbt representation. Main characters of TVD? All straight. TO? 1 token bisexual (freya) for two seasons & Josh who was killed off the only season he was main. Legacies? Josie for 3.1 seasons and Jed, who was only bi for 1 season. So that’s 3 main characters out of literally 37/13 years. She has talked about doing a fourth show, it would be nice if the lead was lgbt, but I doubt it

I don't see Julie Plec doing anything else TVD related, she's busy with Vampire Academy on Peacock right now.
She can definitely do another TVD show. She is currently showrunner of vampire academy, but in the last 5 months she got 3 more shows ordered. All while doing legacies as well
It sucks because we finally get a main m/m couple with the promise it was going to last then this happens.

Legacies was weak for a multitude of reasons. For one, the story ALWAYS centered around Hope and Landon. I don't care who was dead or in a mystical coma or ran away from school, the story ALWAYS revolved around them. That alone should've killed it.
The other reason (and admittedly this one is my opinion) was that Hope was weak. To this day I don't think we ever say any of that oh so powerful first born Mikaelson
volatile magic. They hyped her power levels up HARD on T.O. yet when she was actually grown enough to embrace and flex her power she fell way short.
If they had used a fraction of the effort spent shoving LandHo down our throat into actually fleshing the supposed central character, it would've been much better.

Honestly I don't trust Julie Plec at all to do right by lgbt characters (or hell even black/PoC characters if even a fraction of what Kat Ghram went through is accurate). But sadly she is imbedded in TVD universe like an inoperable tumor.
Legacies always gave me buffy vibes and that’s what made is great.
