Agreed. Although it was airing on HBO Max. At the core. It was still a CW production, but with curse words and nudity.
On the nudity part. I'm very surprised we didn't have one damn scene with Brenton showing his ass. I mean really? Did he refuse?
Not surprising about the cancellation. The first season was actually pretty good and wasn't too "CW". However, after the first season. The quality dramatically dropped and continued in subsequent seasons. They really dropped the ball on the show. So much potential, especially being on HBO Max.
As far as Brenton. I think the show ending could be a good thing for him. He now has an opportunity to venture into more independent movies/Tv shows to showcase his acting chops and also more risque projects. Also these types of shows require you to be in the gym constantly and I don't think he really is a gym guy. He only does it for roles, but once that is done. He turns it off until the next project that requires him to be in top physical shape.
I have to assume he refused because pretty much every other dude in Titans showed their ass, Joshua Orpin more than once even.
Prefacing but saying I think he’s beautiful in any shape he’s in and it’s just how I think hollywood operates, but I honestly believe Brenton hasn’t been showing much skin because he “let himself go” a little bit and has been on the chunkier side. They either want their lead to be a buff fit marvel superhero looking dude or he’s staying clothed. You can see from this still from a season back where even though he’s fit he’s much thicker than the earlier seasons, and nowadays he’s showing more of a dadbod which he can’t just get rid of in a month nor do I think he cares to (and he shouldn’t if he doesn’t want to.)

Yes and he was in his mid 20s then, surprising to me that he hasn’t had any roles with nudity again when he’s close to his mid 30s now
