I've always thought people read too much into that. That he was just playing with the interviewer, challenging her not to assume anything. That he was not coming out so much as demonstrating allyship. Since we've seen literally nothing else from him to suggest he's anything but straight, the averages mean we can discount this as an outlier.

IMO, of course. I'd be happy to be proven wrong, but I just don't think this is as big a deal as people think.

Yeah I agree, a critical mass of assumed "bi" celebrities who have been vague about their sexuality seem to typically just be in hetero relationships and when you raise an eyebrow at this fact you get met with accusations of bi erasure. When... with peace and love... you can't erase something that wasn't there in the first place, and was mearly wished into being by fans latching on to vague statements like in the gifs above.
