I am assuming this lovely Mercury Eight is a 1939. A college friend had a 1939 4 door Mercury sedan that was nicer than my 1941 Ford 2 door sedan.

Not so fancy for a stately Bentley, but I love the turntable. Early parking garages in Baltimore ca 1915/1920 used a turntable to maximize the number of vehicles crammed into a modest space. These garages had one overhead door for in and out and the turntable slotted you into and out of a space.
