Colton underwood- american football player

More Mexican vacay pics on IG. It's interesting to me that they stay (this is the second time at least) in pretty but sterile and very straight Punta Mita, and not at one of the high-end hotels that are actually near the great gay scene in Puerto Vallarta. I can see not wanting to be in the heart of it all, but odd to me not to stay somewhere that's at least within taxi distance of the gay scene.

Maybe they don't like the big gay party scene but prefer spending time with just their group of friends? Who's to say, though, maybe they just really like that resort and chose to go back because of the great experience they had the last time they were there?

I would also imagine it's easier to be more anonymous in a place like where they are, too. Sure, some Bachelor or even NFL fans would know that Colton came out but I'll bet 95+% have no clue and it's not even front-of-mind for the one that do know, so it wouldn't click in their head in the moment that it's Colton there with his fiance.

I'm sure you're right in the first paragraph.

Just to be clear, I'm not saying they'd encounter any homophobia at the Four Seasons Punta Mita (if that's what you mean by people not knowing he's there with his fiancé). But I get wanting to be more anonymous generally.

I go to PV and actually stay in the heart of it not for the "party scene," but just the general vibe. To me their decision is like going to Cape Cod in the summer with your out gay group of youngish friends but not actually visiting P-Town.

But you're right, different strokes and all that. Just something I noticed.

As someone not tuned in to the latest prime time TV shows as well as sports, it took some research to find out who Colton is and what hes done to gain fame. Now Im watching the Netflix series Coming Out Colton and recommend it to anyone who is going through similar struggles and challenges with their identity and making sense of it all (in a nutshell). Otherwise its full of scenes to just check out Colton :)
