I went to college with a number of straight. nerdy guys that had never been in relationships. Some were more attractive than others, but they all basically lacked confidence and were socially awkward. It took them time to get comfortable with themselves. Even though they were totally normal, they felt like they weren't -- I guess because they weren't into sports.

Yeah, I have no evidence that he might be gay. You are right. I suppose I was just going through the possibility in my head and the reaction the family would have if he was. It was probably wrong of me to even suggest it. I do see just a few minutes ago on tiktok Britany (Conners GF) just posted that she won't let her family disrespect her LET ALONE somebody elses...so, what I was getting at. That family is for one, racist bigots, ignorant and judgemental and use their religion as a weapon. That is the basis of my gripe. Conner is just kinda the collateral damage of my anger. Which isn't right. I should do better.
I can't stand religious people do that. I mean, they act like gay people don't grow up in or go to church. Plus, if God knows all -- like they claim he does -- he already knows were gay. Moreover, they don't know our relationship with God or how he feels about us. They only speculate because of what's in the Bible -- a book inspired by but written by men -- and you can't tell me that didn't make mistakes or weren't influenced by the times they were living in. The Bible makes this pretty obvious, but that's just my interpretation.
