If he got so big, why's his Superman suit so loose and ill-fitting? I KNEW Gunn's homophobic ass was going to ruin this for us somehow!
Maybe for ease of movement idk. They also opted not to have padding underneath. The wrinkles might be smoothed over with cgi

Yes. My first reaction was like many. I didn't understand why the suit didn't look like it fit well. I'm sure it will be fixed in post-production. I still don't like the kevlar look though. Superman doesn't need that. I can't imagine that being CGI-ed out. Then why do it in the first place.
It's quite likely it will be like the Black Panther bts pics, in which the suit was also loose but in the movie it was very form-fitting.
Not only does Superman's suit look like it's easier for movement but it looks A LOT more comfortable than if it was skin tight.
And since he is not using padding underneath that's why he got so big, so he still would be superman-sized. And this movie seems to be taking inspiration from comics such as Superman For All Seasons and All-Star Superman, where he was big but not really in a body-builder way, so maybe that's what they're going for.

As much as i love Henry and his superman, i'm surprised people still rant about it! Give David a chance, i'm positive we'll see the cutest and the most charming smile, and he's bigger than Henry. And the suit....cool down people..its not like those pics are directly from the finished movie

with every new Superman adaptation (whether for cinema or TV) it always has something to say even before the product comes to light.
