I have subscribed to Englishlads maybe half a dozen times over the last several years. Typically I would wait until several new videos have built up that I'm interested in seeing. Sign up. Watch said videos, and then cancel my subscription & then wait for another collection of videos I'm interested in to build up.
I have always found the actual layout of the site to be very reasonable. The search bar is great. Navigating the site was all very straight forward. The picture quality of the video was very good, and the descriptions of what the videos are were always pretty spot on.
That's just about where the positives end for me. As stated here multiple times. The sign up is definitely excessive (Although I've never been asked to provide a drivers license or photo ID) And the price for a subscription, especially when you consider the amount of new content provided (One video per week now) is exorbitant ($50 AUD)
He has a knack of finding guys I'm interested in, frustratingly, because I'd really like to move on from this site completely. But I have never found him to be a good director. How many times he shoots a scene that would involve the two models performing to be sitting on the hardwood floor, or on barstools was just extraordinary. Who in their right mind would set their scene up like that? So uncomfortable. Put them on a couch, or on a bed. He talks incessantly throughout so many of the scenes I'm interested in watching. The second I hear his voice once the action begins, I'm hitting mute. Do the introduction at the beginning of the video by all means, but the non stop dribble he talks throughout the scene was always very off putting. And personally. Him putting his hands all over these young guys he shoots with I've always found to be a little unsettling. He's not getting any younger, And I think it would be much more appropriate to have someone on hand closer to the performers age that can do these massage/service type scenes with them. Although I'm sure it's partly a cost cutting exercise on his part. Most of the scenes I've found to be quite awkward & a little uncomfortable to watch. Largely due to him. If he sat back & let the models do their thing more I think the scenes would benefit from that greatly.
The drop off in duo scenes over the last 12 months or so has been shocking. I think I counted 1 duo scene in the last 6 months. And only 2 or 3 in the last year. If I was a recurring member, being charged his exorbitant monthly subscription prices, for that quality of output, I'd be furious. He also deletes negative comments on videos (Has done it to me) So I don't think he's at all interested in reading any sort of constructive criticism. 2 scenes per week dropped down to 1, yet his subscription prices didn't seem to reflect him putting out literally half the amount of content that he used to. I also find it ridiculous that you have no idea what scene(s) are upcoming. I think paying members should be made aware of what's upcoming. It could help inform their decision about whether or not to keep paying or not. Most other sites I'm familiar with will show you what their next 3-5 scenes being released are.
I actually stumbled across a model who worked for him up until fairly recently (2022) who was using a chat app to promote his OnlyFans & Twitter. He was really nice & actually chatted with me and answered a few questions I had. He stated that the owner is slowing down & has other businesses he's involved in that he's more interested in & that take up more of his time. I think that is pretty apparent when you go on the site today.
Not being able to download anything. Having no access to most of the site unless you pay more money, and 1 scene per week that could just end up being a solo (not my thing) renders this site almost pointless to me now. I do like seeing what the new scene is each week, but I highly doubt I'll be subscribing at any point in 2024.
