yeah from the clips I've seen this show is likely *terribly* written but glad for him to be getting work
i haven't watched it at all, weirdly enough netflix isn't pushing this onto me like it does with pretty much everything it releases. and the only thing i've seen of the show is the same gifs of gregg shirtless over and over again being reposted. no one seems to be talking about this show

I use Remini to help with the faces, but the body and rest of the image are good old fahioned Photoshop filters and scrubbing. Combining multiple layers to get the best result, etc. That includes manually colorizing and touching up too. There's no easy app to just make them HQ unfortunately. I don't even use all of the upscaled faces from Remini as they tend to look bad in areas. And I never use the bodies from Remini as it makes things like chest hair look worse. Mix a lot of options in Photoshop to get the best result overall. Just a hobby to make some of my favorites photos more wank-worthy. I have a twitter where I post these (see my profile), but Twitter limits images to 4K and I've been doing a lot more in 8K, so I post some here to share with others.
It's pretty bad yet I'm somehow on episode 5 already. One of those sitcoms that seems like an "adult" version of a Disney show.

This show is trending in many countries, so that's good, but still...
I honestly had no faith in this show, and it's not like it's the only thing on Netflix. They made a shit billion of these sitcoms once a year, and they never do well. If anything, it's just a paycheck for Gregg and his costars.
He's a decent actor who can do well with the right project, like WOWP or Runaways, this just isn't the big break he needs.
Plus he's got Gridlock, which is doing fine. It's not the end of the world if he's on a crappy show with no nudity. He'll be fine, he's almost 30, he's got a full life ahead of him.

you can't believe what netflix shows as trending/popular on their homepage because they often lie about that as a way to push shows. like that jupiter's legacy show that was supposedly number 1 and the most popular show on netflix and it turns out it was a flop, netflix was just saying that to get people to watch it.
today was actually the first time i saw netflix advertise this show to me, as when i opened netflix, it was at the top of the homepage. it premiered last week and only now netflix decided to advertise it to me. and when i look at that dumb top 10 trending in my country, it's not even on there.
i think the fact tumblr and twitter only seem to be posting shirtless gifs of gregg shows that this isn't really that entertaining of a show, or they'd be posting funny bits too
