Regardless of him being a closed gay, he was A HORRIBLE PERSON, and what he did with Tyler was unforgivable.

It's never going to not be weird to me that America seems to love having 30+ year olds play "high school" kids. It's obvious they're old.

Season 1 came out 2 years ago and most of the cast were older than high school age. It is weird to me and it's not just this show. Pretty much every American TV show and movie that features a high school has adults well beyond 18 playing the role of kids.

this has to do with child labor laws. If an actor is under 18 they can only work so many hours on set per day, and if they're still in school the production company/network also has to provide time for schoolwork on set also. Its easier/cheaper on production to have adults work because they can shoot less days with longer hours than more days with shorter hours
