No I mean like, actually in the show. They're supposed to be these skinny awkward guys, except... they're very handsome, and while not super muscular, they have excellent definition and are attractive by any metric. It's funny when shows do that.

You're right. And I too wasn't sure either if you meant "everyone" in the context of the show or here in this forum, but I get you now.

Is the show trying to make some half-hearted attempt at addressing guys' body image issues with the "skinny" comment peppering, as counterpoint to the way girls often have to deal with that as a "given"? Maybe just contrasting with the "jock" football guys' physiques. But I'm with you, the physiques that Miles and Dylan are each keeping under those respective clothes are nothing to be ashamed of whatsoever.
