Gym shower watchers

Today after I finished working out I went to the showers at my gym. I am not modest and walked with my towel over my shoulder. I got into the shower stall and started showering. A guy that was changing came into the shower area fully clothed and looked at me. He then left and came back 1 minute later and started showering. I didn't think much about it until he started moaning. I looked over and he was jerking off. I was done showering and dried off and then walked out of the shower and told him to enjoy the rest of his shower. Has this happened to anyone else before? Any recommendations? I really don't care if someone watches me but not interested in having them moan and jerk off watching me.

Y’all are way too sensitive. And all this advice about “reporting someone” is pretty feeble. You don’t like what’s happening? Tell ‘em right to their face. A nice firm “knock it off!” will work every time. Or just ignore other people. That’s what I do. My disinterest keeps unwanted encounters at a nice distance. The guy’s aggressive? Some guys go over the line - whether they are gay or straight. Generally, you just ignore them - what's it hurting? They're sad and lonely, and clueless. IF they touch you without consent, however, pop them in the nuts with your knee (I have), or if they are quite a bit bigger than you, report them immediately. Not cool, ever.

It sounds like the word is out with this specific gym.....guys know that others are there stroking themselves......so more guys are showing up. Again, for me, I'd be OK with this. I often stroke myself at my gym shower and sauna......and often see other men doing the same thing.....all the time.....

When I was in college, I had some weird encounters. Once, I was taking a shower after my swimming practice, and this older guy was just across me with a boner and staring at me (it was a gang shower). He was touching himself and even smiling a few times. It was pretty uncomfortable. This happened when I was just 18 years old, and at the time I was naive and still in the closet, so I was more worried that if he was looking at me and aroused, probably he knew I was gay.

Anyway, I'm still pro communal showers and I see the locker rooms as a safe space where men can be nude and free without worries. At some people mentioned before, I don't mind if guys look at my dick or check me out, actually it is an ego boost. The solution to this is simple, you report this person to the staff at the gym and they will then proceed to revoke his membership and call the police. Not sure if you are aware of this, but this type of behavior that you are describing would easily place this person on the sex offenders list. Seriously, that is ridiculously creepy, a term I rarely use, and completely inappropriate....don't let a weirdo like this go unchecked.

One thing we learn with age... Our brains don't all of a sudden rewire and stop looking at younger men and women. The crazy part is my "attraction range" went from very narrow when I was younger... To a wide variety now that I'm older. Sadly we must temper our comments and or behavior to be "age appropriate".
