I am fully open to believe him, I just think it isn't wise to take what the porno industry advertises at face value. Most times, our intuition is incorrect. In fact, I always operate based off of the opposite of what my gut tells me. "A hammer has to fall faster than a feather, right? I mean, just look at it, it's obviously heavier!" To be fair, I did think that to begin with. But whatever.
And this is not to say that me, or sdp, or anybody else doesn't have an agenda: we all do, it is in the nature of human beings to act this way. I don't want people to be bigger than me, beyond margins I am comfortable with. But when you claim that he is ten inches long, I am going to need some proof (it is precisely this envy that prompts my increased cynicism, and rightfully so when there is no real merit to the claim beyond eyeballing it). It is the equivalent of looking at a car and telling me you know how fast it can go. You need to actually measure it.
I have a proposition for goldzilla, or whoever else. Go and use sdp's process with the pixels and hand references to prove him wrong. He described the process so you don't have to do the hard work. If you think he is opinionated to the point of manipulating date (I don't know him, so he may very well be that way), go in and do it yourself. It would give us a good idea, if the guy who thinks he is smaller and the guy who thinks he is bigger both get the same conclusion, we get a pretty good sense of the truth. If you disagree with the pixel procedure, tell us why and present a viable alternative that is as accurate as that one. I cannot stress that part enough, if you disagree with the procedure, put forth your own methodology and put it to the test. However, I think you don't actually think there is anything wrong with the procedure, just the result.
Use all the images you want, just use more than one and account for angles and perceptive manipulation. Use the pixels and all that. If you can get a conclusion off of that and tell me how you got it, I will believe you. But what you are doing right now will convince nobody. You can't just say that he can't not be 'x', you need to prove that it is 'x' before you can get people to believe you.
