people having fetishes are fine, but when it's fetishes about people it becomes a bit odd i think.

the problem is that everybody is offended by everything... there is a huge population that just points fingers and talks shit.... "you're a racist!" "transphobe" "fascist" etc...and it gets really really old really fast.. political correctness has made it so nobody can say anything, even if it's true, that could be deemed 'inappropriate' and here we are on a site that is basically a big dick fetish site (i'm not really that into big dicks, but i love the discussions) and I'm pretty new here, but i see the same kind of discussions... it's ridiculous... we are not here to be PC, we are here to talk about things you can't in other places, because we are pervs, at least I am... i agree totally, but when people point fingers all day, they are basically being assholes, and it's not helping our climate, at least here in the USA... where we get pissed about anything resembling identity politics... this website should be pretty open and free, and it is... for the most part

I'm a 135lb thin black man who can easily be overpowered, so I usually shut anything down that can even remotely resemble something that may lead to danger or emotional trauma based on race. I've been lured into someone wanting to turn an encounter into slave play and that is scary af! It's something to consider. People are extremely sensitive now because about of the trauma that has been unaddressed can finally be addressed. We have voices and platforms.

So you can have your fetishes and express yourself however you like, but you also have to realize that it may affect someone negatively and their reasoning can be extremely valid, even if that inconveniences you. Our frustration over being shut down because of a fetish is far less pressing than being discriminated against because of those same things someone may fetishize.

This conversation is far more nuanced than race baiting, out of hand social justice warriors, or having preferences and fetishes.

I'm not of Asian descent, so I can't really speak on racial issues in sex from the lense of an Asian person, but I imagine that similar issues with stereotypes occur and you just learn to protect yourself from those situations while still trying to be open.

Sometimes that means allowing yourself into situations that you soon regret and those situations make it harder to open up the next time around.
